Win98 Question
(too old to reply)

With the MS support for Windows 98 closing down in 2004, should I get the OS
and install it on my PC, or if I'm still happy using Win98, should I keep
it?

Also, if I install Win2000, will I have to re-install my other software, or
will it simply change the OS in the background?

Please e-mail me at "unidyne (AT) cox.net". Thanks!

My experience installing Win2000 over Win 95 was that it just changed
the OS in the background and left my other software in place. Win2000
may not be available for purchase much longer; I'd say if you want it,
grab it.
