Not sure what you mean exactly. If you're trying to post URLs
(links), just type them into your message.

Examples: <http://www.google.com/>
<mailto:***@invalid.invalid>
<news:***@g43g2000cwa.googlegroups.com>

If you're trying to post your message as HTML, please don't. It
makes you look like a newbie and could get you flamed (except in
groups where it's generally accepted, of course).

Boy, are you stupid. If you wouldn't have spammed in this group, I
would've carried on helping you. Fuckwit.

Yes; the < > symbols are delimiters that indicate the beginning and end
of the URL. While human eyes can usually tell when a URL ends, software
sometimes makes errors if you don't include the delimiters. Be sure to
type only a *complete* URL, for example
<http://www.aptalaska.net/~kmorgan> or
<URL:http://www.aptalaska.net/~kmorgan> or <mailto:***@spamcop.net>.
Never use the delimiters for a partial URL, like
<www.aptalaska.net>--this looks to software like a URL, but doesn't tell
it what protocol to use.
