Hi, I would like to ask you about newsreader programs. I'm using oulook
express which is OK, but it doesn't have colors and the newsgroup listing
is
not very handy... Anyway I do appreciate from OE that it gives the
newsgroups' description in the list, which I couldn't find in the other
programs I tried (Xnews and Agent 2.0).
Does anybody know any good newsreader, with colored text capabilities and
good newsgroup listing?
thanks!

Sounds like you're looking for a good web-based news service.
I'm still checking into "GMail" and "Google Groups" on Google's
website. They appear to be free of charge right now while they're
still in BetaTest...

Keep in mind, won't you, that many readers (human readers, that
is) of UseNet newsgroups still set their newsreaders for "text only"
and pretty much either killfile or pass over posters who use HTML
instead of text for their posted articles. (HTML is a code which
makes pages look similar to World Wide Web pages.)

Thanks Paine for your answer!
Actually I have tried web-based services but I would prefer to use a program
to do it.
About the colors, I didnŽt mean html, some programs would show you different
colors for the quoted text, or display your own messages in a different
color, for example.
