Is there a list of newsgroups that accept ads, without considering them
"spam"? I know that the make money fast groups get their share, but there
must be many groups that do not get their nose out of joint when we place
our ads on them.

Please advise. Thanks

Most groups do not want ads, even on-topic ads. There are a very few
exceptions, but if you have any doubt whatsoever, then you should assume
the ads are not wanted. It is self-defeating to post unwanted ads,
because many of us specifically boycott anyone who posts them, even if
we would otherwise have purchased.

Check for newsgroups with names that include both the name of the item
you want to sell and the word "forsale" or "marketplace" and see

acceptable ways to advertise

You can also post on-topic information, that is not an advertisement,
and include a 4 line ad in your sig file. The best way to do this is
to answer questions in a newsgroup that is related to whatever you
sell. This leads to people emailing you and asking for prices on the
stuff that you sell, since you have established yourself as a helpful
expert.

See the website listed in my sig file for more details. (Hint, Hint!)

For example biz.marketplace, and misc.forsale.
