is there a usenet client that lets me easily check replies to my threads?

there are some that let you go directly to a *message* you've posted,
but not the entire thread

I think most of them with filters, kill/tag files, or scoring will do
this. I see that you use Windows and I'm not familiar with any of the
Windows newsreaders, so I've crossposted this to news.software.readers
where users can give you some good suggestions. Also,
<http://www.newsreaders.com/> is an excellent resource for info and
download links

Xnews will flag replies to a user's posts.

I think that you, the OP, should explain what *exactly* *you* mean by
"is there a usenet client that lets me easily check replies to my
threads?". As Kathy and others have mentioned, any decent newsreader can
'flag' follow-ups to 'hot' threads. I.e. first you mark a thread as
'hot' (i.e. interesting (for you)) and next your newsreader will show if
any hot threads have followups. For example, 'my' (CUI) newsreader tin
will show "*" next to a hot thread with followups.

The newsreader in my signature (XanaNews) is great about alerting you
to replies to your messages, automatically, without any setup. It shows
a special icon in the system tray whenever you get a reply, and also
color codes threads you post in. (It's freeware.)

Xnews

Any replies to your messages are automatically scored 9999. Open a group and
you can hit a key to show ONLY those messages scored 9999.

Hi eww oweiw,

Re: Sorting your messages by score, unthreaded.

I use ( and recommend ) 40tude Dialog,
but your Moz Thunderbird 0.5 should have
an unthreaded view.
With Dialog, one click switches between the threaded
and unthreaded view.
( Unlike Thunderbird, Dialog has on-the-fly spell checking )

The threaded view is where I usually remain,
with replies to my posts scored by proximity to my post.
